What an adorable book with great illustration. A story that is not just enjoyable to read, but has a good message for kids about giving and receiving. Good book to read your kids on Christmas Eve night before they go to bed.
I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.
My Friend Lil'foot A Christmas Surprise is a sweet holiday tale for children. It offers an important message to think of others during the Christmas season, as not everyone is in a position to fully enjoy it.
I had some trouble with the flow of the text. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a rhyming book, or if they were coincidental. I also felt like the story was a little disjointed near the end, but children probably won't notice continuity issues.
If I could give a half star, I'd give this book a 3.5, but since I can't I'll give it the 4 stars because I like the message the author/illustrator is trying to convey.
